Shellfish Harvesting Area Closures — Summer 2026

Attention shellfish harvesters: Stave Island Bar, which opened on October 20, 2025, will close on June 30, 2026. Hog Island Bunker Cove was originally scheduled to close on April 30, 2026 but remains open and is now planned to close on June 30, 2026.
